Compilation FAQ

I am Tracey Bryant-Swint (formally known as the "Queen of V-Steam"), and In partnering with Griot Publishing House, I am excited to announce that I am seeking eight dedicated and passionate women to join me in creating the first-ever book compilation that honors the healing of the womb and the power of female healing. This book will be a collection of stories, experiences, and insights from women who have undergone the journey of healing their wombs, both physically and emotionally.

I am seeking women who have overcome challenges related to their reproductive health and have a desire to share their journey with others. This could include, but is not limited to, experiences with endometriosis, infertility, miscarriage, or healing from past traumas. This book will be a platform for these women to share their story, and to empower and inspire others to take charge of their own healing journey.

As a partner in this project, you will have the opportunity to co-author a chapter in the book, and be a part of a supportive community of women who are passionate about the power of healing. By joining this project, you will not only be contributing to the creation of a valuable resource for women, but also be part of a movement that is dedicated to uplifting and empowering women. So, if you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, then join me and make HERSTORY!

Let's get started

Guidelines for Herstory Book Compilation

“I am seeking eight dedicated and passionate women to join me"

This first-ever book compilation that honors the power of female healing will be a collection of personal stories, experiences, and insights from women who have undergone the journey of healing their wombs, both physically and emotionally. We want to hear your raw, honest, and authentic story of overcoming challenges related to your reproductive health. Whether it's endometriosis, infertility, miscarriage, or healing from past traumas, we want to hear it all.

To make your story stand out and connect with readers on a deep level, consider writing in the first person and incorporating powerful emotions such as tears, laughter, goosebumps, and awe. Begin with an engaging opening that immerses the reader in the action, rather than starting with an explanation of what the story is about. Also, avoid ending the story with a summary of what has been said, instead allowing the reader to come to their own conclusions. Drawing from the perspectives and insights of women who have gone through the journey of healing their wombs can add depth and authenticity to your story.

Speak from the heart, use a pen name if you don't want to use your real name, and don't try fancy moves with tenses.

Keep your story to 2880 words or less and tighten, tighten, tighten! Your story must be true, no fiction or creative writing.

We understand that sharing a personal story can be difficult, but many find it to be a cathartic and productive experience. So, be brave, speak up and join us in honoring the healing of the womb and the power of female healing!

Each Author will own his/her copyright of the work submitted for production. Copyright registration fee is included in the price per Author.

Griot Publishing will include a page outlining how other authors can become published, and reserves the right to inform readers of additional products and services in any publication. All authors taking part can promote any product or service they offer in their bio at the end of their chapter, however you cannot do so in the body of your chapter, only at the end. This extra page will not be included as a charge in your package. Griot Publishing reserves the right to reject products services that are a conflict of interest to the co-Author or book subject.

The book will be priced at $16.95 each and printed in the barcode. We included the price on the back cover to allow you leverage to adjust the price as you wish. We recommend that you sell your book for $12.95 + $2.95 shipping and handling. You can also sell it for $16.95 and offer free shipping. At the end of the day, it is up to you whatever price you choose to sell it for.

Yes. You may order up to 5000 books at one time. If you want to order more than that in a single order, contact customer service for a price quote.

Each additional book priced @ $3.95 + shipping & handling.

Yes. We will perform basic editing on every manuscript being submitted for each Comp Table. If your manuscript requires extensive editing, you will be given the option to purchase our proofreading/editing service that will correct your manuscript and get it print ready. You can also work with your co-Author to help you with your chapter to avoid additional costs.

Standard Shipping within the US is included in the price. Contact customer service for any shipments outside of the U.S.

That depends on you. The profit that you can make is based on a few factors:

  1. 1How much you sell your book for;
  2. How many books you purchase at one time. When you replenish your book stock, the more books that you purchase the cheaper the unit price is. The cheaper the unit price is, the more you will profit. For example: If you purchase 100 extra books @ $3.75 each, and you sell them for $12.95 each, that means a $9.00 profit for you. You will make approximately $900.00 profit after spending only $375 plus shipping and handling.

Each Comp Table has a set amount of Authors which have deadlines, so once you've committed to be included in a Comp book, we prefer that you follow through with your commitment for that book. Although there are no refunds (except if WE reject your chapter), we do understand things happen. So in some instances we can transfer you to a future book project at a later date if required.

We have no plans to do so at this stage. However, should a foreign publisher be interested, then we will definitely look into expanding to other countries!

When you want someone to review your work, you should have their undivided attention. The Griot Publishing staff already has their plate full working with other Authors trying to make deadlines, so with that being said, please do NOT send us any manuscripts/books or ask us to read any at this time. We do offer an Assessment service if you desire professionals to proofread your work.

Because others are on the same project and deadlines have to be made, we do not offer payment plans that will exceed past 6 months. Because we do not offer refunds, we have made our payment plans under $100 to assist in making it easier for you to make your payments. Please make sure that this is something that you can commit to before making your down payment and sending in your manuscript.
