After clicking all "publish now", "order now" buttons, or links, you will navigate to our secured billing and store website where you will place the initial order. Please keep in mind that if changes are made during the creating of your Book, the price will be recalculated and either added or subtracted from your purchasing price. We offer an easy pay plan to help those who cannot afford the full price all at once. The payments are broken into increments not greater than 6, and a $100 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to enter this program.
In most cases, our STANDARD production time and UPS Ground shipping will get your books to you in plenty of time. But if you need them even faster, you've got several options.
You can upgrade PRODUCTION time (the time it takes us to print and bind your books), or you can upgrade SHIPPING time (the time it takes UPS to get the books from our offices to you), or you can upgrade both PRODUCTION and SHIPPING time.
If you're trying to save a day or two, it's usually cheaper to upgrade our PRODUCTION time than to upgrade UPS's SHIPPING time. And if you're not sure, just give us a call. We can work out all the scenarios and let you know which is least expensive.
Our standard production time is 7 business days. You can select RUSH service, with a production time of 1 business day (artwork must be approved by 3pm EST), or SUPER RUSH service, where your books will ship the same day you OK your proof. (SuperRush is only available on a limited basis, so please call us to confirm that it's available. Also, your artwork must be approved by noon EST in order for your Books to ship the same day.)
This is a system that we use to keep everyone on the same page. Once your manuscript has been completed, edited and reviewed, the Publisher Assistant will send you an email requesting you to verify that the manuscript has been reviewed and approved by you for printing. Please do not sign off on any documents and/or manuscripts that YOU DID NOT REVIEW. This is a very important step because once you sign off on it, any mistakes found after print will be corrected at your expense.
After you've looked through the entire manuscript and cover, you've got to determine if the proof is OK or not. If you reject the proof and GPH made the mistake(s), let us know in an email what we need to correct; we will fix it on our end and send you new files to look over. If you reject it and YOU made the mistake(s), edit and correct the file that is wrong and send us the revised PDF files. 3 pages or less we will switch out for free if corrected pages are sent BEFORE the signoff. Remember, any files that have to be changed AFTER you signed off on it giving us the approval to print your book, will access a fee. Don't forget to order an Author's Copy or a printed proof of your book to check for additional errors.
Note that even after you signoff on your proof and you find an error, as long as it's OUR mistake, we'll fix it for free.
Once you have made your down payment, you will receive what is called a Griot Code. This identification code is to be used on any correspondence you have between you and Griot Publishing. All files that are sent to us for inclusion in your manuscript MUST have your Griot Code attached to it ensure proper identification of your book contents. Material that is submitted to us without this code will not be used under any circumstances.
We offer convenient payment plans so that everyone is afforded the opportunity to put their thoughts into print. Please note that your books will not go to our printing press UNTIL you have completed all process steps to include payments. You may receive a copy or printed proof of your new book, but this must be paid in advance in order to take advantage of the Author's Copy review before printing.

We take pride in protecting your account with us. Each Client will receive a unique number referred to as an GS CODE. This code is given as an identifier to keep all of your contents and transactions organized in our system. It is also used as a communication tool between Griot Publishing and YOU; the Author. It is a security code to prevent unauthorized users from requesting important information from us regarding your account including transactions, contents of your manuscript etc.
1. You will be issued a GS CODE number via email along with a digital copy of your submitted Electronic Signature. Store this number in a secure place. We are not responsible for unauthorized users who have access to your files via your GS CODE. We urge you NOT to share this code with anyone, but we do suggest that you have at least 1 family member on your account for emergency purposes.
2. No one will be able to access your files or make changes to your manuscript without that GS Code.

View the Book Identifiers page for ISBN information. (Canadian Authors should get their ISBN through Library and Archives Canada.) Your ISBN is required before setting up your cover artwork. Also, please not that you should NOT approve your cover artwork if your barcode isn't on it. If your cover is printed without a barcode, we can issue you stickers with the barcode on it to be added later at an additional cost.
Note: All purchases of ISBNs are final. After this ID number has been purchased and/or assigned to your book title, it cannot be returned, and there are no refunds.
We offer Priority Publishing Service options if you need your book published faster than the normal 30-day Publishing Agreement. Although we ship out finished books in 2 business days after the final manuscript has been approved, we can print and ship the same day the order is placed if request is received by 12 PM MST of the same day for an additional fee.

To order reprints of your book, contact your Publisher Assistant or visit the Printing Services page and place your order.
If you've recently moved and forgot to change your address, please contact us as soon as possible. It is our hope that your book shipment will be returned to us as undeliverable, but if they are not, unfortunately, you will have to place a new order. We do not guarantee order placements if the missing order is due to us receiving the wrong address.
Please email us to let us know that your address on file is incorrect. If the books are returned to us, we will send you an invoice for the cost to re-ship the order. If the books are not returned to us, we will send you an invoice for the cost to print and re-ship your books.
Due to less reliable postal delivery, and increased shipping costs since Covid, we are no longer shipping printed books to international addresses. International customers must use a U.S. shipping address in order to receive book shipment. In this case, we suggest ordering an eBook instead.
