No. The format of your e-book may not look exactly like a printed book, as e-books are designed to be read on electronic devices such as tablets, smartphones, and e-readers. However, you can still make your e-book look as close to a printed book as possible by choosing the right formatting options and layout.
There are several different formats that e-books can be published in, including fixed-layout, reflowable, and audio. Fixed-layout e-books are designed to closely mimic the layout and formatting of a printed book, with page numbers and images in specific locations. Reflowable e-books, on the other hand, are more flexible and can be easily adjusted to fit different screen sizes and font sizes.
Whether your e-book will look exactly like a printed book depends on the format you choose and the device it will be viewed on. If you want your e-book to closely mimic the layout of a printed book, a fixed-layout format may be the best option.
The eBook will not be published until your final approval. We will request an email from you stating that you are satisfied with the finished eBook. As an author, it's important to know what format your eBook will be delivered in, as this will determine how it can be read and accessed by your readers.
Generally, eBooks are delivered in one of two formats: EPUB or MOBI. EPUB is a widely accepted open standard for eBooks, and is supported by most eReader devices and apps, including Apple Books, Barnes & Noble Nook, and Kobo. MOBI is a format developed by Amazon for its Kindle devices and apps.
If you're planning to publish your eBook on multiple platforms, you may need to deliver it in both EPUB and MOBI formats. Some publishing platforms, like Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, offer tools to help you easily convert your manuscript into the appropriate format.
It's worth noting that while both EPUB and MOBI are widely accepted eBook formats, there may be some variations in how they are displayed on different devices and apps. It's a good idea to test your eBook on a few different platforms and devices to ensure that it looks and functions as intended.
Overall, understanding the format of your eBook is essential for ensuring that it can be easily accessed and enjoyed by your readers. By delivering your eBook in the appropriate format, you can reach a wider audience and ensure that your book is as successful as possible.
We use the standard .EPUB format which will allow your eBook to be read by all computers that have an epub reader and most portable devices. Those that are being published on a website will be delivered in a pdf format for your records.
Deciding how much to charge for your eBook after publishing can be a challenging task. There are many factors to consider, including the length of your book, the level of research and work that went into it, and the market demand for your topic.
One helpful approach is to look at the prices of similar eBooks in your genre or subject area, and use this information as a benchmark. You may also want to consider offering discounts or promotions to help drive sales and reach a wider audience.
Ultimately, the price you set for your eBook should reflect the value you believe it provides to your readers. By pricing your eBook fairly and competitively, you can help ensure that it is successful and generates a good return on your investment.
Most eBooks sell for between 50% and 75% of the price for printed books. Normal pricing will be between $5.00 and $15.00. An average is about $9.95. Remember you have no printing or shipping charges when distributing E Books so your profit is similar to selling a printed book. Of course, the lower the price the more sales you can anticipate.
You do. Unlike other publishers, we do not retain any rights. You do what you want with your eBook and you keep all the sales generated by your eBook. If you decide to sign a consignment contract with GPH to post your book in our eBook store, you may do so upon approval.
As the author of your book or eBook, you retain the rights to your work. When you work with a publishing company, you may be asked to sign a publishing contract that outlines the terms of the relationship between you and the publisher. This contract should clearly state who owns the rights to the work and how it can be used.
It's important to carefully review any publishing contract you are considering signing, and to seek legal advice if necessary, to ensure that your rights are protected. It's also a good idea to retain control over certain rights, such as the right to reproduce or distribute the work, so that you have the flexibility to make your own decisions about how your book is published and distributed.
Overall, as the author, you own the rights to your book or eBook and should make sure that your rights are clearly defined in any publishing contract you sign.

There are several reasons why it's important to protect your eBook from being copied or printed.
First and foremost, piracy can significantly impact your sales and revenue. If your eBook is widely distributed without your permission, it can decrease the number of people who are willing to pay for it. This can lead to a decline in sales and a decrease in income from your book.
In addition to financial considerations, piracy can also damage your reputation as an author. If your book is widely available for free, it may be perceived as lower quality or less valuable. This can hurt your reputation and make it harder for you to sell future books.
Finally, protecting your eBook from being copied or printed is a way to respect your own hard work and the time and effort you put into writing and publishing your book. By taking steps to prevent piracy, you can ensure that you are fairly compensated for your work and that your book is given the respect it deserves.
You can protect your book using several DRM (Digital Rights Management) when you distribute it. There are a lot of pros and cons to DRM. Most distributers feel they gain more sales than they lose by making the eBook easier to access and read by eliminating DRM. Most readers do not like having to enter codes or be restricted in where or how they can read your eBook.
