History of Our First Bookstore -
We opened our very first bookstore, TRP Christian Bookstore, right in the heart of Buckeye, Arizona. At the time, it was the first and only bookstore in the city — a bold step forward in bringing faith-based and community-centered literature to the local area.
After a year of serving the community in person, we closed the physical location of TRP Bookstore and transitioned fully online. This shift allowed us to expand our reach beyond Buckeye and continue offering books, publishing resources, and support to a growing audience nationwide.
We rebranded as Griot Publishing House — a name that honors the legacy of storytelling. The word “Griot” refers to the traditional African storyteller, historian, and record keeper. This name reflects our deeper mission: to help authors not just publish books, but preserve truth, culture, and legacy through the written word.
